Dakshina / Daniel Phoenix Singh Dance Company returns to Dance Place with an evening of Anna Sokolow’s choreography, including Frida and Homenaje a David Alfaro Siqueiros.

In tribute to her friendship with Frida Kahlo, Sokolow choreographed Frida to honor the artists’ vibrant, tumultuous and prolific life as well as her love of Mexico and its culture.
